The PA role
A personal assistant is someone who can help and support a client with social needs and to live day to day life as normal as possible due to age, disability, health issues and/or independence.
PA funding
Direct payment – contact your local council to find out more information and if you are entitled to funding.
Self-funding – paying privately for support.
Tailored to individual needs
Some or all may apply; services are tailored to meet your individual needs, we offer daily, weekly, monthly care plans.
*Help with eating, washing, dressing, medication ordering/reminder.
*Independent living – meal planning, shopping (going for /with), Assist with paying bills, paperwork or other household management.
*Help to access Doctors, Dentist or other appointments.
*Mini general clean – bed changing, kitchen and bathroom cleans (not full house cleaning)
*Assist to participate in hobbies, interests, socializing.
*Befriending service – cuppa and a chat.
Pricing
Minimum 1 hour.
LS22 – LS23 from £12 per hour
Other areas from £14 per hour
